Scott has been considering starting lessons out of his home in Lake Forest in South Orange County or at student's homes depending on where Scott is performing. Scott is now a sales representative for MasterWorks hammered dulcimers, so quality instruments can be purchased or rented directly from Scott.

Teaching out of his home will allow Scott more control over instruction and will allow him better access to music books, the internet, amplification equipment, and tuners for better instruction.

Classes will probably be a half hour in length and will be scheduled on Wednesdays or Thursdays from noon until 9:00 pm. Contact Scott at music@scottdulcimer.com to inquire about lessons for either the hammered or the mountain dulcimer.

Children are especially drawn to the hammered dulcimer whenever Scott performs on it. Sign up your child for a unique musical experience. Scott insists that a parent or adult be present during home lessons.
